I normally don't shop at Winn Dixie, but Publix's sales weren't great this week and we needed meat.

I ran into CVS tonight to grab the Cholest Off money maker and free Schick razor:

• 1 Schick Hydro Silk razor, on sale $8.99, used $4/1 MQ and $2/1 CVS mailer coupon, received $3 ECB, final cost FREE
• 1 Cholest Off, on clearance $5.37, received $10 ECB, $4.63 PROFIT
• 1 Herbal Essences conditioner, on clearance $1.99, used $1/1 MQ, final cost $.99

Total spent: $4 ECB and 6.49 OOP
Total received: $3 ECB razor, $10 ECB vitamins, and $1 ECB bag tag
 Total: $3.51 PROFIT!

Lately I've been finding lots of Publix coupons to go along with the sales and my manufacturer coupons, and I finally caved and bought some Enjoy the City booklets. It's rare for me to spend less than $30 before coupons, so I know I'll be able to use all of the Winn Dixie coupons in the book. Here's what I got today:

 

• 3 Ore-Ida potatoes, on sale $3/ea, used B2G1 Publix coupon, final price $2/ea
• 10 cans Alpo dog food, reg price $.75/ea, used $1.50/10 peelie and $2/10 PQ, final price $.40/ea
• 3 Pillsbury biscuits, on sale $1/ea, used $1/2 PQ and $.40/3 MQ that doubled, final price $.40/ea
• 2 packages Perdue boneless/skinless chicken breasts, on sale $2.99/lb
• 1 Magnum minis ice cream bars, on sale $3.50, used $2/1 IP and $1/1 SQ, final cost $.50
• 1 Smart Balance milk, on sale $2.50, used $.50/1 IP that doubled, final cost $1.50

I know most people assume if you coupon, you are really only going to save on junk food, which is completely not true! It's crazy to me that if I had paid full price these items would have been $21.01. This is what I got at Publix for $3.23 today:

• 1 Birds eye steamfresh chef's favorite veggies, on sale $1.25, used $.50/1 IP that doubled, final cost $.25

• 1 pineapple, on sale $2.99, used FREE pineapple wyb $5 in groceries Earth Fare coupon
