Saved 70% at Publix this week

So I wasn't going to head to Publix at all this week, since the stuff on sale didn't really entice me. But this morning we ran out of coffee creamer....and it was on sale...so I picked up some other sale stuff while I was at it.

  • 2 Right Guard Total Defense 5 deodorant, on sale B1G1 $3.99, used $3/2 IP
  • 3 cans Campbells condensed soups, on sale $1/ea, used $1/1 MQ and $.50/2 IP that doubled
  • 1 Yoplait Fiber One yogurt multipack, on sale $1.25, used $1/1 IP
  • 1.8 lbs of okra, on sale $.99/lb, total cost $1.82
  • 1.25 lbs green beans, on sale $.99/lb, total cost $1.26
  • 1 tomato, on sale $1.49/lb, total cost $.64

100% savings at Rite Aid and CVS!



I didn't get much today, but it was all FREE! Luckily my Rite Aid and CVS are directly across the street from each other so it is no trouble to run into both each week.

  • Total cost $0 and received $5 ECB! I left with as many as I spent!
Rite Aid-

Good trip to Publix this afternoon. They were ALREADY out of the Wanchai Ferry dinner kits (on the first day of the sale...), but I still managed to snag some deals.

Saved 94% at CVS & Rite Aid!

Today (first day of the sale) I ran to CVS at 8:30 in the morning to ensure everything I would want would be in stock. Someone had already bought all of the Corn Pops, Fruit Loops, and Apple Jacks cereal (the kind I wanted!). Oh well, I got some other cereal that will not be near as delicious, but was just as cheap.


I bought all of this for $4.95 + tax. Everything came from CVS except the contact solution, which came from Rite Aid:
  • 3 Kellogg's cereals, on sale 3/$10, used $1.50/2 IP, received $5 ECB
  • 1 Blink Tears eye drops, on sale $7.99, used $1.50/1 IP, received $7.99 ECB
  • 1 Dawn Hand renewal, on sale $.97, used $1/1 MQ

  • 1 Oral-B Pulsar toothbrush, on clearance $2.99, used $.75/1 MQ (not best price, but didn't have the right coupons for the Right Guard deodorant, so I needed something to replace it)
  • 8 ct Bounty Basic paper towels, on sale $5.97, used $1/1 MQ

Saved 57% at Publix!


I had a decent trip to Publix today. I didn't really NEED anything that was on sale...but I did need a few off sale items so I think I did pretty good considering.

I got all this for $20.47, and I saved $27.05 or 57%! Here's the breakdown:

  • 1 Tombstone pizza, on sale $2.90 (this will make a cheap lunch this weekend)

What a great day at Rite Aid!!

I didn't plan on shopping at Rite Aid this week, but one of my friends at work is expecting, and so when I saw cheap diapers I thought it would make for a great baby gift. So I worked out a plan and off to Rite Aid I went:

  • 1 Johnson and Johnson baby lotion, on sale $3.99, received $2 +Up Reward
Also used a $5/25 Video Values coupon

Total spent: $11.56 + tax (put other $.91 on RA gift card I received for transferring prescription)
Received: $4 +Up Rewards and $7 SCR
Total spent after rewards: $.56!!
