Today I ran into Publix just to grab a few of the sale items. I didn't really need much after last week's Kroger mega sale. Here's what I got:

Kroger 1/24

I headed to Kroger this morning with my husband who didn't really feel like going. After he saw how much we got for $48.11, he actually was impressed and glad he came! Here's what we got:

• 3 Kraft cheese, on sale for .99, had a $1/2 coupon
• 13 cans Pedigree Plus dog food, on sale for $.49, had one B2G1 free coupon
• 1 French's Mustard, on sale for $1.19, had a $1 coupon
• 1 Frank's Wing Sauce, on sale for $1.99, had a $1 coupon
• 2 Pepsi 2 liters, on sale for $.75
• 1 Nature Valley Nut Clusters, on sale for $2.19, had a $1 electronic coupon and a $1.60 coupon. Profit of $.40!
• 3 Quaker Rice Cakes, on sale for $.49, had $.75 coupon
• 2 Toaster Streduels, on sale for $1.77, had 2 $1 coupons and one $.55 electronic coupon
• 3 Hungryman Dinners, on sale for $1.77
• 1 Mott's Apple Juice, on sale for $1.50
• 1 Kroger CranApple Juice, $1.99 (husband really wanted it)

Awesome day at RiteAid 1/10

I had a great trip to RiteAid this morning. Here's what I got:

I also used a $5/25 coupon I printed out online, so I basically only paid tax once I get my $12 rebate in the mail! And I have enough cold medicine and tampons to last me a long time!

This week I haven't done too much grocery shopping. I only went two places - Target and Publix. At Target I bought some Christmas items at 75% off, a couple 2 liter Cokes at $1, and a 40 lb. bag of Pedigree dog food for $19 and received a $5 gift card for buying it!

At Publix I mainly just ran in to get the sales. I bought various items, including bacon, pop-tarts, a whole chicken, 3 boxes of Hamburger helper, a taco kit, hashbrowns, 2 boxes of popcorn, bread, and two Olay Quench body lotions. The two lotions will end up being free due to the awesome rebate out there right now on the lotions. I spent around $32, but will get $9 back, so I got all those items for only $23. Not bad!
